Buying a home

A pre-approval that sellers take seriously, a loan officer who stays on your file, and a straight answer about what you can afford before you fall in love with a house.

How it works

  1. Tell us the situation

Ten minutes on the phone or through the app. Income, credit, savings, and what you’re hoping to buy.

  2. Get a real pre-approval

We pull credit, verify income, and issue a pre-approval letter based on an actual review of your file, which is why listing agents trust it.

  3. Shop with a number

You know the payment you’re comfortable with and the price range it supports. We update the letter per property if the seller wants it.

  4. Lock and close

Once you’re in contract we lock your rate, order the appraisal, and track every document in the Loanzify app so you can see what’s outstanding.

First-time buyer?

Most people buying their first home in California end up looking at three programs: FHA for the lower down payment, conventional with its first-time-buyer low-down-payment option if your credit allows, and VA if you’ve served. We’ll run all three on your numbers and show you the difference in writing.

What to have ready

  • Two most recent pay stubs and W-2s for the last two years
  • Two months of bank statements for the accounts your down payment comes from
  • Tax returns for the last two years if you’re self-employed or have rental income
  • Photo ID
